MY HOLIDAYS…

In the holidays me and my family were cleaning the rooms because we are moving soon.We want our house to be clean for people that want to buy our house.So while we were cleaning we heard the phone ring my step mum when and answered the phone and it was my mum.So i ran out the lounge and snatched the phone out of her hand and said hello so we talked a lot lets just say blah blah blah...then she said that me my cousin and my sister are going to be at the movies by ourselves. In the morning i jumped out of  bed and i was getting all excited about the movies, then we talked some more so i went to sleep and when i woke up i jumped out of bed with a spring in my step cause my mum was coming to pick me up.So i had breaky did my hair packed my bag and cleaned the room,first i got dressed Next me and my cousins went outside to play a game, juring our game we all got hungry so we raced inside faster and hungrier then ever before,I was the first person to touch the door so i slowly opened it and boom i could smell the delicouse smell of chips and dip so i raced to the fridge opened it up and there it was the dip.My mouth was watery  i was just about to grab it until i heard beep beep and i looked outside and it was my mum,so i ran out side and gave her a big hug and i quickly ran inside grabbed my bag,now we were on our way to whangarei i was really tired so i had a big sleep and when we got to my mums house i woke up and went inside to play on PS4 i raced to the controller and that night i went to sleep at 6 in morning and i had like a 1 hour sleep and woke up and everyone was still asleep so i stayed up tired as waiting to go to the movies the minute i was closing my eyes everbody woke so i got dressed and i was ready to go.We were on our way to the movies and while we were waiting i almost dropped my ice-cream why? you ask why? Because i was falling to sleep and finally the movie was about to start so i sat up and watched well at least for a bit cause i was falling asleep and these old-ladies were annoying me cause they were talking through the whole thing but anyways i still slept through some of it,Finally it was time to go home and have a sleep.

Our bee visit

BEE VISIT

Hello,my name is Jordashay and this morning people came to talk to us. There names were Kathy and Dan the bee man they were explaining about bees and bee aware month. They said that the queen lives in the brood, the workers are all females and live for 6 weeks in the winter and live for 6 weeks in summer but some bees can live longer,after all of that we got split into 2 groups and the group that i was in had a look at the bees and we all tried to find the queen bee.Kathy told us that the queen bee is longer than all the others and the queen bee also has a white dot on its back.But after we did all of that stuff  we were with Dan the bee man and when we with him we all got to taste the honey from the honeycomb that was nice and sweet anyways then we were told to sit down on the mat and we all got a honey,some seeds and a sticker THE END...bye.

The Olympics

The Olympics

Wow! I thought i wasn’t expecting this much people.As i started feeling nervous i looked at my hands they were shaking faster then ever.As we got told to line up i stood in the middle line and everybody i was standing next to had been in the Olympics before i think but i knew that they were going to beat me.As the man was saying ready,set,go i raced to the end i started huffing and puffing towards the end i was thinking stop but my heart was saying you can do  this.I was just realizing that everybody was way behind me i was feeling passionate,powerful as i was just 5 steps away from the finish line i started counting down 5,4,3,2,1 and i was there everybody else was falling behind as i was feeling blessed,happy, and like never before I screamed hallelujah I came first place ya...See ya later guys stay tune for my next blog post...

W.A.L.T:describe our senses.

I see tiny pink and orange sunset crystal’s...The sight  is sparkly.

I hear drizzling rain...The sound is ting ting ting.

I smell sweet sweet cherries...The smell is sugary.

I touch hard shiny crystals...The feeling is sore.

I taste cherries and strawberries...The taste is sour.

My Easter story

Finally its Easter i thought to myself.I was wondering what color my Easter might be maybe it will be dark as the night sky or as bright as white as clouds I was waiting and waiting until...

My stepdad said you have to wait until we get back from shopping so I said "OK". So we headed off we went shopping for cloths and shoes.

Then we got home and waited until my mum hid the eggs. She yelled out ready so we all rushed out the door then looked we saw some on the swings and some on the slide. Then while we were finding them outside. My mum...

Went to go hide the big eggs inside. We found all the little eggs and ran inside. We looked all around and BOOM!!! I found them in the closet L ripped the tin foil off as I teared off the sparkly tin foil it sounded like crinkly old leaves. I finally took a huge bite my egg was as big as a bolder when I took a bite it was caramely and it melted in my mouth. THE END

My Mihi

My Mihi

About three or four weeks ago room one were leaning about our Mihi that means Pepeha we took some homework,home our homework was to fill in our whakapapa and pepeha.

Then we had to bring it back to school and get a coloring in sheet then fill in a drawing sheet and hang it up i helped my friends cause they were just mucking around and they did not at all know what to do.

After,we did all that we had to make a video of us saying our pepeha off by heart but we had to do it outside no one really managed to make a video mainly because of the wind and because they were mucking around.

The Lorax.

For a few weeks room 1 has been learning about the Lorax its been really fun also interesting we've made Truffula trees which look like this.    

 

Also we drew some pictures and picked out which part of the story that we thinks the best and i am going to show you mine.

We cut out a picture of the lorax and stapled it on our wall.

I loved learning about The Lorax because it was interesting and fun.
